Dive into confidence with our Learn to Swim program! Led by certified lifeguards, this comprehensive course teaches essential water safety skills and stroke techniques, ensuring swimmers develop the confidence and ability to thrive in the water.

IMPORTANT: See the Swim Level descriptions below to select the most appropriate level for your child. Instructors reserve the right to reassign any swimmer to the level they determine appropriate, ensuring the highest standards of safety. 

Two Week Sessions: Monday - Friday
Session 1: July 8th -19th (Open!)
Session 2: July 22nd - August 2nd (opens July 12th)
Session 3: August 5th -16th (opens July 26th)

Level 1&2 | 9:30, 10:30, 2:00
Level 2&3 | 3:00 - 3:45
Level 3&4 | 11:30 - 12:15

LEVEL 3/4 ~ DEEP WATER SWIMMING AND INTRODUCTION TO STROKES

Learn to Swim with Red Cross Certified Lifeguards!
  • Important: Harwich Students Receive Priority Placement. Harwich Resident/Students should make payment immediately following registration.
  • Registration For Non-Harwich Resident Taxpayers & Non-residents Available As Space permits*
  • * You will be contacted prior to start of class regarding registration and placement in a class.
  • Ages: 3 y/o and up
  • Location: Fernandes Bog at Long Pond
  • Price: $60R/70NR/Per Session
  • Pre-registration is required
  • No drops-ins
  • Lessons are taught by Red Cross Certified Lifeguards ensuring that each participant receives the attention they need based on their comfort level and ability.
  • IMPORTANT: At this time, online payment is not available. Cash or check will be accepted (made out to Town of Harwich) at Harwich Recreation Office, 100 Oak Street. Payment must be made in advance. (no payments accepted at Long Pond)
