Recreation Department Courts

Harwich Recreation is happy to offer an outdoor Recreation, "Rec" Reserved Play Program at Brooks Park beginning May 4th, 2026.

8:00am - 12:00pm | 7 days/week:
Courts 5, 7 & 9 - 16: Recreation Reserved Play and
4:00pm - 7:00pm | Wednesday & Thursday evenings:
Courts 13,14,15,16: Recreation Reserved Play

25 Non-Resident Reserved Play spots open for registration Monday June 22nd at 9:00am

Public Courts
Courts 6 & 8 are for Public Use at all times. (Not for organized registered play)

Lessons
Schedule Beginner/Intermediate or Advanced lessons by texting Coach Rich at 508.250.5013 | One-hour lessons for 4 consecutive weeks; Minimum of four, maximum of six players per group lesson; Required: Pickleball paddle, water, proper clothing.  

Play Eligibility

  • Online Payment highly recommended
  • Rotational Play Only: If players are waiting, play one game to 11 and exit court.
  • Sign up for the next available court by placing name on the whiteboard.
  • If you sign up to play as a group of four, the box ahead of yours must be filled before your group goes out.
  • Brooks Park: 10 Courts: | 8:00 am – 12:00 pm (Courts 5, 7 & 9 - 16)
  • Brooks Park: 4 Courts | 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm; Wednesday and Thursday Evenings Only (Courts 13,14,15,16)
  • Brooks Park: Public Use 2 Courts Open Play Available to All (Courts 6,8)
  • No unauthorized instructional play or practice.
  • No chairs, pets, scooters, loose balls, bags, drinks (other than water) are allowed on the courts.
  • Never go onto a neighboring court during play to retrieve a ball or make a shot. Call out “Ball on Court” loudly when a ball goes onto another court.
  • No other activity allowed on courts including but not limited to skateboarding, roller blading, bike riding, dog walking, hockey etc.
  • Play is governed by Official USA Pickleball. Pickleball rules available online.
  • Courts are designated for Pickleball use only.
